Fosun Pharma has entered into a strategic partnership with Chinese compatriot Genrix Bio, the collaboration focusing on the latter's BCMA×CD3 bispecific antibody (BsAb), velinotamig. Under the agreement, Fosun subsidiary YaoPharma will obtain exclusive development, manufacturing and commercialisation rights for velinotamig in Greater China. Fosun will pay up to RMB 600 million (USD 88 million) in upfront and technology transfer milestone payments, plus up to RMB 1.22 billion (USD 180 million) in sales milestones.
Velinotamig, which features an asymmetric affinity design favouring BCMA binding, is designed to recruit and activate T-cells to kill multiple myeloma (MM) cells while minimising off‑target T‑cell activation. The drug's Biologics Licence Application (BLA) for MM was accepted for priority review by China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) in January 2026. A subcutaneous formulation has also been cleared for clinical trials. Genrix previously licensed the drug's global ex‑China rights to Cullinan Therapeutics in 2025.
