China-based Jingze Biotech has submitted an application for a listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX). Founded in 2014, the company concentrates on assisted reproduction and ophthalmology. It has completed six financing rounds since 2018, raising approximately RMB 1.04 billion (USD 153 million), with a post-money valuation of RMB 3.21 billion (USD 472 million) in its most recent round.
Jingze's pipeline includes biosimilars, modified new drugs, and innovative products. Its lead asset, JZB30 (follitropin alpha biosimilar), was approved in China in 2025 for ovulation induction and controlled ovarian stimulation in assisted reproductive technology. Exclusive commercialisation rights were licensed to King-friend Biochemical in 2025, with market launch expected in 2027. The second core asset, JZB05 (aflibercept biosimilar), is in Phase III trials, with a new drug application (NDA) filing anticipated in H2 2026.
As of April 2026, Jingze reported a net loss of approximately RMB 89 million (USD 13 million) and cash reserves of RMB 81 million.
