Drug Farm Closes USD 55m Round of Series D to Advance AI-Discovered Pipeline

China-based Drug Farm has completed the first round of its Series D financing, raising USD 55 million led by Pudong Investment and Puxing Synergy, with participation from existing and new investors. Proceeds will support global clinical development, preclinical research, and regulatory activities for its first-in-class pipeline derived from the proprietary IDInVivo+ and MedChem5 platforms, which integrate genetics and AI to discover novel targets in living systems.

The lead asset, DF-003, an ALPK1 inhibitor developed via MedChem5, is among the first AI-designed drugs to enter Phase III trials, targeting ROSAH syndrome with potential in cardiorenal disease, and holds Fast Track, Orphan Drug, and Rare Paediatric Disease designations in the US.

The oral ALPK1 agonist DF-006 for chronic hepatitis B (CHB) has shown encouraging anti-HBV activity in Phase I/II studies and is being co-developed with compatriot Amoytop Biotech.
