Evinova, an independent healthcare technology company within the AstraZeneca group, and GeneScience Pharmaceuticals, a leading Chinese biopharmaceutical firm, have announced a strategic partnership focused on AI-driven innovation in drug development. The collaboration, announced at the 2026 DIA China Annual Meeting, aims to accelerate GeneScience's transformation into an AI-powered biopharmaceutical enterprise. Evinova will leverage its digital health and clinical research platforms to support GeneScience's AI drug discovery and development efforts.

Key areas of collaboration include digital health strategy, the implementation of Evinova's Study Designer and Unified Trial Solution platforms, and AI-enabled clinical development planning. The partnership seeks to integrate Evinova's expertise in digitalising clinical trials with GeneScience's established capabilities in AI drug discovery (AIDD), aiming to create a more efficient, end-to-end drug development process.
