Enrui Kainuo Completes Series A Financing for CAR-NK Cell Therapies

China's Enrui Kainuo Biotech has raised over RMB 200 million in Series A funding led by SCGC Capital, Hengqin Financial Investment and Green Pine Capital Partners. The proceeds will advance clinical development of core pipeline assets including its lead CAR-NK cell therapy for systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and expansion of proprietary cell therapy platforms covering CAR-T and T-cell engager (TCE) bispecific antibodies (BsAbs). The company focuses on autoimmune and inflammatory diseases with first-in-class candidates.

Founded in 2021, Enrui Kainuo has established comprehensive R&D, manufacturing and clinical teams with proprietary technology platforms. The financing follows promising clinical data demonstrating best-in-class potential for its NK cell therapies in autoimmune conditions. Investors highlighted the company's innovative approach to off-the-shelf cell therapies addressing significant unmet needs in immunology beyond oncology applications.

According to PharmCube's MedAlpha® database, Enrui Kainuo previously raised USD 4.2 million in a pre-Series A round. Click here to request a free trial for MedAlpha®.
